CHICAGO, Ill. (February 19, 2014) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Thursday that the club has waived forward Kellen Gulley and midfielder Brendan King.
    Gulley joined the Fire on Aug. 11, 2011 when he was signed as the second Homegrown Player in Fire history. The Clinton, Miss. native was named to the U.S. Soccer U-17 Residency Program in January 2010 and earned eight caps at the U-17 level, tallying four goals during international competition in 2009 and 2010.
    King, a 23-year-old midfielder from Naperville, Ill., joined the Men in Red on January 31, 2013 after spending 2012 with Norwegian Division One side Alta IF where he appeared in seven matches and League of Ireland Premier Division side Bray Wanderers AFC where he made one appearance.
